Suzanne Dircks has a Master’s Degree from Antioch University in Psychology with her area of emphasis in issues of child custody. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Antioch University where she majored in psychology, legal, and social services.
About
She has a private practice in Tacoma doing counseling, and mediation. In her counseling practice, she specializes in working with families in the divorce process.
Suzanne is a past member of the Pierce County Bar Guardian ad Litem Committee and the Advisory Committee to the Pierce County Guardian ad Litem Panel. She participated in conducting Guardian ad Litem training and mentoring between 1987 and 2003 and was the past coordinator of the ongoing training program for the Guardian ad Litem Panel.
Suzanne co-authored the workbook, “What Children of Divorce Really Need”. Additionally she taught the class of the same name for two years which met the requirements for the Court mandated “Impact of Divorce on Children” parenting class in Pierce County.
